Video Creation

I have several years of experience creating and editing videos, both from screen recordings and live footage. Editing is usually done with Camtasia software. Below are several examples of my work.

Originally From Niagara University Library's YouTube Channel:

(Following Universal Design for Learning principles, I manually edited/corrected the auto-generated closed captions to ensure accuracy)

"Research Appointments" - September 29, 2021
For this video, I combined a screen recording with footage of my dog "typing" on the computer.

"Using NoodleTools" - September 9, 2021.
A playlist of 4 videos using screen recordings to demonstrate the NoodleTools citation management program.

"Finding the Full-Text of an Article" - June 24, 2021.
Screen-recorded demonstration.

"Make a LibApps Avatar with Bitmoji" - May 7, 2020.
This video was created for internal staff use, so it is a little more informal. I combined screen recordings with footage of myself using the Bitmoji app on my phone.

"Using the Button Maker" - March 21, 2019.
I filmed myself demonstrating the library's button-making machine.

"Avoiding Plagiarism" - May 9, 2018.
Uses mostly still images (along with narration) to explain the concepts.

Western New York Library Resources Councils's YouTube Channel:

"Robotics as a Gateway to STEM/STEAM Programming in Libraries" - May 5, 2017
I recorded the speaker presenting in front of a green screen, at the recording studio of the Buffalo Central Library. I then combined the footage with additional images/footage provided by the speaker.

"Adding items to New York Heritage" - January 31, 2017
I used Simpleshow software to create this short explainer video.

"WNYLRC 50th Annual Meeting" - October 7, 2016.
I recorded footage at the event and edited it into this highlight video.
